
A rare wedding ceremony has taken place in Ibadan, Oyo State, where twin brothers exchanged vows with twin sisters in a celebration that has captured widespread attention online.
Oguntoye Taiwo Oye married a twin bride named Taiwo, while his twin brother, Oguntoye Kehinde Oladele, married another twin bride named Kehinde.
The couples shared the news on Facebook alongside pictures from their traditional engagement ceremony held on Friday.

“Twins wed twins! Yesterday’s traditional wedding was simply amazing. We are grateful to God and everyone who celebrated with us,” they wrote.
They added that the wedding marked a special moment for them, saying: “Taiwo & Taiwo. Kehinde & Kehinde. All glory, honour, and adoration belong to God for making this day a reality.”
The couples also described their engagement as a dream turned into reality, expressing gratitude for the love and support from family and friends.
In Yoruba tradition, the first-born twin is named Taiwo, meaning “taste the world,” while the second-born is named Kehinde, meaning “the one who came after.”
