Mr Eazi, Temi Otedola Consulted Nine Doctors Ahead of First Child’s Arrival

Nigerian singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi and his wife, actress Temi Otedola, have revealed that they consulted nine doctors across different countries while preparing for the arrival of their first child.

The couple shared the details during a recent episode of their podcast, which gained attention on Tuesday, as they discussed their pregnancy journey and the steps they took before welcoming their baby.

According to them, the multiple consultations were important because they had not decided which country they would choose for the birth.

In a viral clip from the podcast, Mr Eazi explained that they sought different medical opinions to understand their available options.

He said they consulted nine doctors “to give options” because they were unsure of the country they would eventually settle on, adding that he had considered Japan as a possible location.

The singer also revealed that he had started researching Japanese names for the baby, a suggestion Temi humorously disagreed with.

The couple announced in May that they were expecting their first child after discovering the pregnancy during their honeymoon in Asia.

Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola got married in a private ceremony in Iceland in August 2025.
