Interior designer Ehi Ogbebor has addressed reports accusing her of being a husband-snatcher, insisting that she does not take other women’s husbands. In a teaser for her upcoming interview with Chude Jideonwo, Ogbebor revealed that MC Oluomo is the only married man she has dated, explaining that she was comfortable with the relationship because he is a Muslim. “MC Oluomo is one of my best friends. Ayinde, as I call him, that’s the only man I would say I dated as a married man, but he’s Muslim. Even bus conductors have four wives as Muslims,” she said.
Recall that Ogbebor and MC Oluomo ended their relationship in 2021 amid allegations that he had impregnated a Yoruba actress. The claim was made by Instagram blogger Gistlovers, who alleged that while MC Oluomo publicly displayed his relationship with Ogbebor, he was also involved with Yoruba actress Mariam Omo VC. The blogger further alleged that actress Olayinka Solomon, who was previously linked to MC Oluomo before her marriage, introduced Mariam to him.
Despite their reported breakup, Ogbebor and MC Oluomo have remained on good terms and have continued to publicly celebrate and praise each other. In 2024, Ogbebor celebrated MC Oluomo on his birthday with a heartfelt message, describing him as a great man and dear friend. She also praised him for building himself from nothing and credited him with teaching her the importance of giving. MC Oluomo, in turn, has publicly described Ogbebor as one of the strongest women he knows and praised her qualities as a powerful businesswoman.
The former couple’s continued friendship has remained a subject of public interest, particularly because of their history and Ogbebor’s latest comments about their relationship.
