Jude Okoye has reportedly responded to the ongoing dispute involving his brother, Peter Okoye, and allegations surrounding their financial dealings, insisting that his wealth is traceable to investments in real estate.
In comments attributed to Jude during a recent live broadcast, he claimed that he and his other brother, Paul Okoye, invested their money in real estate and now own properties across Nigeria.
Jude reportedly contrasted their investments with Peter’s financial decisions, alleging that Peter invested his money in his partner and no longer has comparable assets to show for it.
He suggested that Peter’s continued criticism and anger stem from the difference in how they managed their finances.
Addressing reports involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Jude reportedly maintained that he had nothing to hide and questioned why he should be required to explain his finances to the anti-graft agency.
He insisted that his wealth was legitimate and that his properties and financial records could account for his assets.
The latest comments add another layer to the long-running dispute involving the Okoye brothers, whose relationship and business dealings have been the subject of public attention.
However, the claims attributed to Jude could not be independently verified from the information available, and the allegations concerning Peter’s finances remain disputed.
